The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has launched the project along US 13. The facility has been operated by the Maryland State Police since 1967, and is getting a full infrastructure and equipment overhaul.
Showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon will be followed by clearing skies and seasonable temperatures into Friday morning.
